19 Oct Alan Parry Co-Authors Insurance Chapter of Construction Law Deskbook
Alan Parry is again a co-author of the chapter entitled “Insurance Issues in Construction” in the Seventh Edition of the North Carolina Construction Law Deskbook, published by the North Carolina Bar Association Foundation. The Deskbook, the latest version of which was released on September 30, covers a wide array of legal issues relevant to the construction industry and construction lawyers. The “Insurance Issues” chapter, co-authored by Alan Parry and Peter J. Marino of the Smith Anderson law firm, provides an overview of insurance issues that arise in the construction industry, including builder’s risk policies, contractor’s commercial general liability policies, owner’s and contractor’s protective liability policies and programs, and liability insurance for design professionals. Alan has co-authored the “Insurance Issues” chapter in prior editions of the Deskbook as well.
